Primitive man started wearing animal skins and vegetable matter to protect himself from the new elements he was exposed to in his migrations out of Oldavi Gorge in Africa. Aeons later, mankind became "civilized" and wore clothing hand crafted from fabricated, woven fabric which was warm and comfortable to wear. Good clothing was both an indicator of wealth and was itself something to be valued. In the middle ages men realized that ‘under garments’ would protect their valuable clothing from the ravages of assorted body sweat, acids and excretions, and even be another ‘layer’ to protect them from the cold. Since that galoooorious day, civilized man has been wearing underwear. ‘Underwear’ has since burgeoned into the colossal global industry it is today. Whatever item you can imagine, somebody makes it. Boxers, briefs, thongs, shorts, tee shirts, crew, polo, v-neck, bras, panties, bikini underwear, strapless bras ....... All I want is a good tee shirt!
